In his free time, Dr. Dunlap continues to be connected with the game of hockey. He has coached youth travel and house teams and has served in administrative roles with the Evanston Youth and Evanston High School Hockey Associations. He has also served as a tournament team physician with USA Hockey's National Team Development Program in tournaments in the United States and Europe.
